Loan proposal for the partial financing of the resumption and extension of the project for the construction and operation of butane gas filling centres in Abidjan and Yamoussoukro by Société Internationale de Gaz (SIG SA) in Côte d'Ivoire

Objectives

• The project concerns the resumption and expansion of the construction and operation of two butane gas filling centres in Abidjan and Yamoussoukro, Côte d’Ivoire, with storage capacities of 4,400 m3 and 400 m3 respectively, and butane gas filling capacities of 465 t/day and 177 t/day respectively. Their implementation will help to meet the growing challenges of the oil and gas sector by strengthening national infrastructures and increasing storage and production capacity to meet the butane gas market in Côte d’Ivoire, while ensuring full compliance with current safety standards.
