CONTRAVENTIONS

The natural or legal person to whom the institution has on- or off-balance sheet credit exposure. This exposure may take the form of a cash or securities loan (where the counterparty is generally referred to as the borrower), securities provided as collateral, a commitment or exposure under a derivative contract.
