INTERNATIONAL CLIMATE INITIATIVE (IKI)

The International Climate Initiative (IKI in German) of the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU) was launched in 2008 to provide support for the implementation of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), through adaptation and mitigation projects in developing countries, newly industrializing countries and countries in transition.
