PROGRAM BUDGET

The program budget is “a method of presenting budget appropriations which consists in grouping the actions of a single ministry by program, by reconciling for each program appropriations of all kinds and the physical or financial results expected, the whole being completed by an indicative projection covering several years”. (Raymond and Jean, 2003, p 80). A program budget is a budget based on specific results to be achieved over a given period.
