An ethical bank
commited to the development of the WAEMU countries
Desiring to establish a new form of governance based on Public-Private Partnerships and structural reforms aimed at improving the financing of the economy, the members of the Conference of Heads of State and Government of WAEMU have called for the creation within BOAD of a cell responsible for the promotion of PPPs in the Union.
Lomé’s Regional Collaboration Centre (RCC), one of the UNFCCC partners, is the result of a harmonious collaboration between the UNFCCC Secretariat and the West African Development Bank (BOAD). Created in January 2013, it is the first of the six RCCs that exist today and covers twenty-six (26) countries in Western and Central Francophone Africa.
